We are very pleased to announce that once again we strengthened the FOM team. Moises Espindola joined in January and César Omar joined us in February.
Both join FOM as R/D scientists and with their Ph.D. they strengthen the already strong employee base.
Moises has joined FOM technologies to expand the use of FOM’s machines to new innovative functional materials and technologies. Previously he has been working as a postdoc in Spain and in Denmark. With a background in Scientific Research, Development, and Innovation, Moises has applied experience within thin-film optoelectronic devices based on organic and inorganic semiconductors.
He is passionate about understanding, knowing more, and applying energy-enabling materials. His research interest focuses on device engineering, interface layers, and the scalability of processes. He is a reviewer of several scientific journals and has various papers on emerging photovoltaic materials.
César earned his doctorate for his work on perovskite-based tandem solar cells. Right after César started a carer in the industry by joining the leading CIGS manufacturer NICE solar energy as an R&D engineer in 2018. César has been invited as an industry and technology expert to various recent panels discussions and workshops concerning perovskite-based PV in terms of stability protocols, reliability, and perspective for commercialization and scaling up. César is convinced that slot-die coating technologies are a key strategy for bringing thin-film emerging technologies to an accelerated market entry. For this reason, César took on the challenge by joining FOM technologies to support their scientific and development efforts.
We welcome both onboard!
